Already have 5Mbps Fusion here, and the voice service is great, so absolutely no desire to trade it in for the VoIP line you provision with FTTN service, but there's a FTTN cabinet right outside the window. I asked Sales whether there is any way to bill X2-style, without having to pay taxes or ATA rental on an unused second line, but with both the existing Fusion ADSL2 and the FTTN, not bonded or anything, just one being a backup for the other. They said they didn't think that would be allowed. C'mon, even for 6-year existing customers on Fusion where you won't even provision Fusion anymore?

PS: I didn't actually ask whether you could provision FTTN with VoIP as a second line to the same address & account as the existing Fusion.

Yes, you could add Fusion FTTN and have both services - but you'd end up with two voice lines, and twice the costs. Not ideal, sorry.

Yeah, doing it without the second voice line would be much better, no?

It would, but we don't have that flexibility today, all Fusion services are data, plus voice.
