Hello there,

I just signed up for the sonic.net Fusion service, and am looking forward to better, faster internet access! I am currently using an old Siemens SpeedStream 4100 modem with my existing DSL service, and am wondering if it will work with sonic.net, and if there is anything I should be doing/buying equipment-wise while I wait for the switching process to complete.

Thanks!

I found this a while ago. It looks like the SpeedStream 4100 works...

Someone will have to verify it can get full Fusion Speed though.

Thanks for the reply -- glad to hear that it will work, and yeah, I would love to know if I can get full Fusion speed with this modem, or if I'll need other hardware. I suppose I should ask tech support directly....

A quick Google search for "Speedstream 4100 ADSL2+" does seem to indicate that it supports 2+, so you should get full speed!
