Early activation

I was wondering that if I got my equipment early, would it be possible to also activate early as well?

No harm in hooking it up, and seeing when the light turns green indicating service.

I will try that, because the tracking says estimated shipping is tomorrow, but I don't think it would work unless att did their part already.
