Outage in SF?

There is an outage in the southern end of SF due to a damaged telephone pole at San Jose & Plymouth ave. It’s been down for 12 hours now but there is nothing here, in my email, on the status twitter account, or the status page. Even Comcast would have posted an update by now, so what gives? I expected more of this service, at least basic communication. Now I have to consider reactivating Comcast for a backup service since I can’t rely on Sonic telling me what’s going on.

Sonic don't have night crews working, Sonic technicians are just started to work on the issue now, not a reliable ISP.

We had a presence on site, but weren't able to do anything until PG&E had finished working on the burnt pole.

The customer facing communications did fall short, and we are working hard to address this.
