Red Light ONT

ONT box has FAIL in red, POWER and 10GE are green as well as the button that looks like a sun.
Internet seems to be working fine.
I was really curious why the sudden red light?
What does it mean? I called customer care and they said they have no idea what it is.
I wanted to submit a picture of the box but this forum doesn’t seem to allow me to upload a photo. I click add files and nothing pops up.

I got on a PC to add the photo so you can see the lights.

Does no one else have red lights illuminated on their box? I called in and sonic customer care said that others had this issue and it was unknown what the cause was.

That red light indicates that a software upgrade has failed. I can attempt to push the upgrade through again but this may result in a brief interruption in service. I would recommend calling into our support team at 707-547-3400 when you have the availability. Alternatively, you can PM me and we can coordinate a good time to push the update through.

I have the same red light. Can you do a push for the update on my ont?

I am happy to do that for you however it will cause a brief interruption in service so we want to make sure its a convenient time for you. Just PM me and we can set it up for a good time!
