Does this have anything to do with my recent upgrade?

Since that upgrade, and in spite of the fact that my Windows 10 WIFI set-up clearly states "connect automatically", my computer never does that.

Every time I restart my computer I have to go into settings and manually turn on WIFI.

I've tried various things suggested by a Google search, and so far nothing has helped.

It's annoying.

Well, I think I figured it out, and if I'm right it has a tangential connection to the recent upgrade. The AT&T tech seems to have left me with both an Ethernet AND a WIFI connection enabled, and I suspect that was the problem. Or at least I can say that in the three minutes since I disabled the Ethernet connection and did a restart the results have been good.

Let's hope. This has been dogging me for weeks.
And of course I would figure it out just as soon as I went public and admitted how inept I am.
