Are you able to use micro trenching to speed up the delivery to cities? Really want Sonic 10 gig fiber! Is this a new technology I am hearing about??

Yes, we have plans to utilize MT for construction of new fiber to residential locations. We’d struggled to get cities to accept it, but a new state law came into effect at the start of this year that requires that cities permit it, so we’re optimize. We have our first saw and tractor coming in the next couple of weeks, and our first pilot project was recently permitted. We’ll see how that goes!

Dane, you mentioned in another thread that SF wasn't making much progress on this.
Can you comment on other cities? I am on a street in Berkeley with undergrounded utilities (and several other Sonic-via-ATT customers) and would love to see some progress toward a better option.
