I've been a Sonic customer for years, and I love that it is so rock-solid reliable! We have just recently moved from Glen Park to Clarendon Heights/Cole Valley (Belgrave Ave), and the selection of providers is remarkably poor!
The network in our old home served as the bedrock of our home security system, thermostats, many simultaneous zoom calls for work, school, and play...not to mention streaming and gaming with two kids on iPads for a few hours a night. Sonic always stayed live and available, and could easily handle pretty much anything a family of four could throw at it!
Sonic, if you're listening, all of our neighbors and I would absolutely be in your debt if you were to come service our area!
Moving and losing your wonderful service has really emphasized the importance of fast, reliable internet as an absolutely critical part of modern life in San Francisco, especially working remotely!
Sadly, we will have to give up our service as we prepare our old place to put on the market, but I hope you will consider bringing fiber to our new neighborhood. The lines are placed underground, but I don't think it would be much of an issue. It would bring our neighborhood enlightenment, as the options are Comcast and AT&T DSL (yes really, DSL).
I would get on my knees and beg for you to come to our hood, but I'm not sure if there's an emoji for that quite yet!
We would love to have you back Sonic!
