what is the make/model of the usbc c thunderbolt? network adapter that Sonic.net techs use with their Windows laptops?

I'm told that most if not all laptops couldn't process much above 1gb, but wb useful to check thruput ahead of my lan.

Not sure what they use but to get actual 10gbps throughput you'll need a thunderbolt to ethernet adapter AND your laptop/computer will need an available thunderbolt port. To note, just because it's a USB-C connector does NOT mean it is capable of using Thunderbolt protocol.

OWC Thunderbolt 3 10GbE Ethernet adapter is what I'd take a look at if I needed an adapter for this, personally.

You confirmed what I just found out from Sonic support.

Thank you.

OWC Thunderbolt 3 10G Ethernet Adapter, (OWCTB3ADP10GBE)

It will be connected to a Dell XPS docking station Thunderbolt 4 (usbc) port.
