Hey, everyone. I have a UDM SE with the new 10G fiber. I was a little nervous about what I needed for the hook up, hence my post.

This is what I purchased: Wiitek SFP+ to RJ45 Copper Modules, 10GBase-T Transceiver Compatible for Cisco SFP-10G-T-S, Ubiquiti, D-Link, Supermicro, Netgear, Mikrotik, Unifi: https://amazon.com/gp/product/B07P39G4X ... UTF8&psc=1.

It slipped right into the WAN2 port on the UDM and the cable the Sonic tech brought plugged the ONT into the UDM.

Once connected, I did a speed test:

Because I have a 1Gbps internal network, the browser test was slower, but expected:

UDM not rated for 10G?

I think you’ll see faster speeds using the native (downloaded) Speedtest.net desktop application on a connected computer, rather than the router’s own app. I achieve a bit over 8,500Mbps on my laptop using a 10Gbps dongle.

We are delivering a connection that’s so fast that it’s tough to demonstrate the full speed. Browsers can’t show the full speed of 10Gbps connections today. I’m sure that’ll improve in time.

The UDM SE should get about 9Gbps if IPS/IDS are disabled and about 3G if they are enabled.

My internal network is 1Gbps. Will upgrade when the prices come down, for sure.

Yep, I have IPS and/or IDS turned on (can't remember if both).

See later reply... yes, it is. I have an internal network which is 1Gbps (ATM).

speedtest.net was a little faster, again on my 1Gbps network:
