I have searched and there seem to be no to little info on setting this up.
I think I need to use bridging but I can't seem to get that work.
There is also talk of 1:1 NAT but I have no clue how to do that.
I bought a few cheap firewall/nat boxes. I am guessing I need one for each IP.
I am using the comtrend sonic sent me.
under port mapping Enable virtual ports on is checked.
I moved net 4 to nas_0_0_35_1
under WAN
I clicked add on the 2nd page I selected Bridging

So as far as I can tell I have the 4th network port set to bridge.
so how do I set up the firewall/nat box?
static ip mode does not seem to work. should I use pppoe or pptp or l2tp mode?
if so what do I use for login/password?
I think there should be a how to for this.

With the Comtrend, you will need to do the following:

Browse to the web interface at http://192.168.1.1 and authenticate with the default username (root) and password (12345).

Un-check "DSL Auto-connect." This will allow you to go through the "Manual Quick Setup" wizard rather than the "Automatic Quick Setup" wizard.

Confirm that VPI is set to 0 and VCI is set to 35. When complete click next.

Select the radio button next to "Bridging" and confirm that the Encapsulation Mode is set to "LLC/SNAP-BRIDGING", then click next.

Confirm that Enable Bridge Service is checked and click next.

Leave the DSL Router IP address and Subnet Mask as 192.168.1.1 and 255.255.255.0. Click Next.

Check Enable wireless if the situation applies and set the SSID to your preference, then click Next.

Confirm the changes you've made on the Summary page, then click Save/Reboot.

The Comtrend will notify you that the configuration changes have been made and prompt you to wait 2 minutes before re-opening your web browser. It actually does take around 2 full minutes for the router to reboot.

Once you have done that, you will want to statically set each of the machines/devices to a different IP from your block that we assigned you.

That should do it for you!

I do not see any such check
BTW I have the 2 DSL line option if that changes anything.

so on a fresh login I have

Device Info
Advanced Setup
Wireless
Diagnostics
Management

if I click on Advanced Setup I seem to get to the goods.
and under WAN is where I did a add and on the 2nd page selected Bridging.
but after I do that I do not seem to be able to get anywhere I can not ping the gateway or the DNS servers
I configed a device on one of the IPs but it seem to be dead I can only ping the comtrend and the slave proc (after configing a device on the subnet that the comtrend is on)

Device Info
Advanced Setup
WAN
LAN
NAT
Security
Quality of Service
Routing
DNS
DSL
Slave DSL
Print Server
Port Mapping
IPSec
Certificate
Wireless
Diagnostics
Management

If you click Advanced > Wan, you should be able to follow:

Press Edit to adjust the settings.

After you edit your settings, press the next button, and choose how you want to set up the connection. If you want to bridge the connection, select Bridging. If you want it to act as a router, select Mac Encapsulated Routing.

After you select Bridging, simply type a name in for the connection (you can always leave it as is) and press next.

It will then give you a summary of your settings, and prompt you to save.

I got to work at last. I had some time this weekend.
I am not very impressed with this modem. it runs super hot and seems to need a reboot every now and them or the speed just drops to like 300bps. I hope in Bridge mode is will be better as the NAT will be offloaded to a different box
I think I will add a fan. it has a USB port I will see if I can find one of the USB fans
The problems I have/had.
1. the setting do not seem to stick you have to save and reboot set it again save and reboot. until the setting stick.

2. QOS seem to not work. I enabled it as I have a IP phone. when QOS is checked the modem seems to just die.
even pinging the gateway fails 80% if QOS is checked.

After I unchecked QOS I made headway.
I have portmapping clicked
and added a port called Bridge
added nas_0_0_35_1
and ENET4
have them both checked

put first router on enet4

I am going to add enet3 for the next router to the same block.
The default block will be just to log into the modem with its IP range

I'd recommend giving us a call. I took a quick glance at your lines and I'm seeing some noise and stress on them that we may be able to alleviate with some troubleshooting and adjustments. The line definitely shouldn't be dropping out like that!
