New features and updates for your sonic.net Email has been released and we are writing to inform you before we apply them to your Email Account. We extensively increased our spam filtering database to detect and analyze commonly used spam keywords, robo-junk senders and other forms of junk messages. Internal storage capacity has also been increased to 10GB for standard users and 20GB for commercial/business.

Due to the nature of this recent changes, we may hold incoming messages if we have not received your authorization on or before January 20, 2021 to apply this new changes to your sonic.net Email.

Weird... the phishing URL is webmail2.sonic.net.

Could someone have installed a trojan on a Sonic server?

Oh, I bet that's just the text that's displayed. If you hover your mouse over the link in the original message, what URL is displayed at the bottom of your mail window?

No. Already talked about at viewtopic.php?f=5&t=16798

The copy paste was just the text but the email was HTML which had a different URL. Kudos to Dane.

Yup. I saw the other thread later, and forgot to go back and delete my posting. Without having the actual email, it's difficult to diagnose.

Excellent, we appreciate the reports. It looks like they might have this one nipped in the bud at this point. As always we sincerely appreciate y'all making us aware of these when they come up. We'd rather have ten duplicate reports than miss one.
