Activity up here near Ralston / Belmont Canyon as well. There was a crew stringing up new fiber and boxes last week.
I’d imagine it won’t be too much longer til that fiber is lit up. At least I hope so…

A Sonic truck actually came by my house and strung up some fiber a few days after I last posted. Coincidence? Hmm...

Sonic installed fiber into the Pole Box near me. Unclear if they installed power.to the Pole box. They are getting closer!

Dane. Any idea when Forest Ave in Belmont will be lit up? I’m waiting for Sonic to take my money
also, I don’t see very many optitaps around. Do the installer install these when people order service?

A few streets surrounding me can now get 10g service but not my street. I pre-ordered a year ago so I don’t know why I’m not getting any status updates and priority.

I got an email update that says:
The Sonic team is beginning splicing work in your community, this is where we prep the fiber cable by fusing it together prior to installation. We expect your area to begin going live with fiber within 60 days!

Got an install date of 10/11!
Great to see the progress over the last month in the neighborhood and looking forward to cutting the Xfinity cord for good!

I'm moving to Belmont next week, so I'm excited to be able to get Sonic 10Gbps once it's available!
