I hear from few comrades in Western Europe that their telco is rolling 10G PON so I was curious whether Sonic have any plans of rolling XGS-PON in the future?

Yes, we will. It won’t make sense to keep deploying GPON equipment once XGS-PON is readily available without a substantial cost premium. We’re not quite at that point today with most vendors, but it’s getting there.

Curious, how does Sonic feel about XGS-PON (ATT and comcast spearheading it) vs NG-PON2 (Verizon) battle?
