Why don't they give a guarranteed min speed?
They are making me give them a guarranteed amount every month.
Perhap that price should float with the real bandwith used?

Please test connecting your computer directly to the modem with no other devices connected.
Have you tried other testing site like the fcc one?
Call sonic (611) maybe they can tweak you line setting to reduce speed but make it more tolerant to noise and reduce errors which will result in a more stable connection and a better experience.

We are sorry to see you experiencing slow speeds. Remote testing of your line shows that there is currently a short on it which is causing the significant reduction in speed. To identify if the short is on the outside line, and to repair it if it is, we will need to dispatch out AT&T. They will need to access your phone box which is typically on the exterior of your home. If it's accessible, meaning someone could walk up to it from the street, no one will need to be home. If it's not accessible, we will need to schedule it for a window when someone will be there to give the technician access. I have already submitted the request with AT&T to come out and investigate this issue. Please DM me if your phone box is not accessible so we can get a scheduled time for this dispatch or if you have any questions.
