I'm moving about 5 blocks down the road in San Francisco and while my current unit has Sonic gigabit fiber, Sonic service at my new unit maxes out at 20 mbps (I assume this is because availability is for Fusion DSL only).

Is there some kind of roadmap for fiber expansion in SF and is there a way to request service to an address? Sonic service and support has been absolutely stellar but it doesn't make sense for me to use Sonic service at the speed+price combo available at my new unit.

Outside of our current build-out, which you can check your address for at https://sonic.com/availability, we do not have any concrete plans for our Fiber expansion and are taking it one step at a time. This isn't to say that we won't expand to your area, just that we have not disclosed publicly if and when we will be able to. I know that this probably isn't the answer you want to hear, but we are expanding our Fiber to as many places as quickly as possible, and hopefully, we can get to your area soon.
