I have had Sonic Gigabit Fiber for quite a while and have enjoyed the speed immensely.
Like many people affected by the pandemic, I am trying to economize and would like to not pay the monthly fee for the SMART/RG SR515ac gateway. Before signing up for Sonic fiber, I was with the authorized partner LMi.net and had purchased an RG identical to the one provided when my Sonic fiber service was installed.
I have plugged in my RG and it is quickly recognized, all the LED's illuminated except it never has an internet connection ("No Internet, Secured"). I have tried powering off the RG, the ONT, waiting twenty minutes, all to no avail.
Any ideas? A setting I am missing? Sonic needs to throw a switch? Buy a new router?
