Any plans on getting fiber to Santa Rosa, you know, your hometown?

Are there any plans on getting fiber layer out on the west side of Santa Rosa around your head quarters.
Is there anything potential customers could do to help sonic get permissions or whatever from the city?

An update if there is at least something that is being worked on would be nice.

Thank you for whatever information you could provide.

Currently we do not have any ETA on when Sonic Fiber will be available in Santa Rosa. We are working as fast as we can to provide Sonic Fiber throughout the Bay Area and hopefully we will reach Santa Rosa soon.

Please understand that we cannot provide specific information on where we are expanding Fiber to next for competitive reasons.

Thank you,

I'll point out one good milestone: we launched service in Petaluma a bit over a week ago. I'm excited to see us doing work closer to home and activating fiber network here in Sonoma County.

Glad to hear you are working on it for East Santa Rosa.

I have been a Sonic client for decades now and really am in need of the gigabit capability.

With the current Corona-19 situation my ability to work in the IT industry from home is now a requirement. The current limits of what are available are actually making it hard to do my work.

In addition, I am a partner in a new IT Project Management consulting firm. The need for fiber connectivity is now greater than ever, and is far from new technology.

I have a friend who lives at Sea Ranch, 1.5 hours up the coast. Sea Ranch installed fiber a while ago. I can get more done with coworkers in San Francisco, San Jose, and everywhere else, by going and visiting my friend at Sea Ranch than I can from my home in Santa Rosa.

Let me know if there is anything I can do to help things along.
