I was just looking at this article for an unrelated query and I noticed the following
Engineers, technicians and associated personnel responsible for infrastructure construction and restoration, including contractors for construction and engineering of fiber optic cables
This thread can be for any COVID-19-related question, but I have a couple to start with for @Dane

1) Has COVID-19 and the resulting CA lockdown affected Sonic's fiber rollout? Has it slowed it? Has it sped up considering the likely demand by cities, businesses and residents for more connectivity options?

2) Has Sonic as a company considered taking this opportunity to appeal to counties/cities more than ever about the need for them to provide residents and businesses with fiber to ensure that they stay connected during this or any future pandemic? I can see today's events becoming a very real shot in the arm to the entire state of CA that we cannot let bureaucracy get in the way of providing people with the maximum possible options for connectivity in such times.

i realize this is a sensitive topic but it needs to be discussed when so many people have to spend more time at home than ever.
