Heya! I moved into a building 6,911 away from CO and so even w/ Bonded Fusion I can expect to see maybe 20mbps but quite likely less than that. My alternatives are quite worse as my entire apartment building is underserved and attempts to bring in Wireless ISP's like MonkeyBrains have not been fruitful. I would rather overpay to bring Sonic.net service up to a speed I want than pay Comcast.
Does the ADSL2+ equipment Sonic has deployed today support bonding more than 2 lines? Maybe VDSL2 stuff coming in the future?
http://www.broadband-forum.org/technica ... TR-159.pdf
The actual standard says:
"All schemes allow bonding of up to 32 individual sub-layers with variable rates,
providing common functionality for the configuration, initialization, operation and
monitoring of the bonded link."
But the question is what does hardware support?
