There's something about my Sonic setup that prevents Apple voice recognition from working.
Voice recognition works fine when my computer is somewhere else; I’ve checked in a few other places. But it soon as I get home the same setup doesn’t work.
If I turn on Voice Control in Accessibility it starts working again. However, Apple Support says that turning this on causes recognition to be processed somewhere else entirely. They sent me an article with information about the server they use for regular voice recognition. it looks like the Sonic router is blocking access to that server.
Has anyone been able to get voice recognition to work through an AT&T provided Sonic modem?
