Hey all. Can anyone provide speed test results? I'm scheduled for an install next week and want to make sure that it's significantly faster than AT&T fiber. Thanks!

In Belmont, I’ve seen 2500 down and 2500 up, limited by the 2.5g port on the UDM SE. ping times are consistently below 6ms. Experience on the WWW will depend on what sites you visit most and the exchange connections that Sonic has with ISPs.

Thanks, that's 4x faster than the highest I've gotten on Ethernet.

I consistently see 8100 down and 7200 up with 3ms ping times in San Mateo. However, I had to disable threat management (IDS/IPS) on my UDM Pro to see those speeds.

4100 down / 3735 up is my best Speedtest so far from an Asus GT-AXE16000, with 3.7ms pings 0.0x ms jitter. :D

Can't compare with the speed right at the back of the ONT.

Any updates / ETA on the Baywood area? I have been getting contradicting info from the Sonic team.

Any update is appreciated.

Uodate to this:

Got an email tonight telling me that there might be a better speed available in my area. Asked me to log into the member tools which I did just to find out, that there isn't.

Call to Sonic support reveals that this was a marketing "gag" and that our neighborhood is not on any plans for upgrading to fiber.

I have been a customer with Sonic for a long long time but I am about to have it. I am being charged $80+ per month for a horrendous, slow, unreliable ATT based service and cannot get a straight answer out of Sonic.

Very disappointing.
