Hi,

I'm already a Sonic DSL customer. That is my service is over AT&T lines. Recently, AT&T installed Fibre Optic cables in my apartment and now offer 1Gbps speeds.

I checked the AT&T website, the rate stated on their website is $70.00/month.

Given that I would prefer to stay with Sonic, I checked the Sonic website with my address and saw a price of $80/month. This makes sense as the lines are owned by AT&T. So, I decided to login and upgrade my service. When I go to upgrade, the price that is then shown is $90/month. Why is there a different price when upgrading versus the price that was shown on the public website?

Thanks!
Your loyal customer.

$80 is probably for new customers, which you're not.

Be aware the $70/month at AT&T increases to $100/month after 12 months.
Pricing for first 12 months only. After 12 mos., the rate increases to $100/mo unless canceled by customer prior to end of 12 months.
