Scheduled maintenance and down time.

Is there anyway to have your systems send out a text to customers when a scheduled maintenance is set for the customer's area? There has been many an occasion when the down time has effected me, and it would be nice to know in advance so I can plan accordingly.

The MOTD subscription seems to be working well for me.
