revisiting the MAC filtering issue...

...on the Pace 5268AC. I've searched the wiki, the forum, and the larger internet. I still can't find a fix for this issue:
The router won't enable MAC filtering unless WPS is disabled. But my unit has no option to disable WPS.
I've got other issues with the 5268AC (as in, it sucks) but this is the crucial one right now. Has progress been made of which I'm unaware? I hope so.
