I'm not a Sonic customer, but I have a home in Lakeshore area.
It has probably been covered already, but it you educate the planners on the money/businesses that google fiber brought in, that is huge leverage.

Please update us on the hearing time and date, I'm very interested to attend.

Of course, at the price they're going to charge, there's no demand. Nobody wants to get ripped off. What do they price 50Mb? $100? So 1000Mb would cost $2000/month? Go to Japan or any of the Nordic countries where you can get 100Mb for the price points Google and Sonic are charging and I'll guarantee TW there will be demand.

Hey eps!

It's HK$7.8 = US$1, so it's around US$35/mo for gig plus a US$50 install charge. There is also a 24/month contract required.

As an Outer Sunset customer, this is highly relevant to my interests. Ping me (or tweet) when there's a meeting, and I'll gladly attend myself. I'd also be interested in finding out more about a mailing list for interested SF-ers.

Looking at a truck putting fiber on the poles outside my window (in the pilot district) :D Is this part of the outlay for the pilot?
