1GB Fiber in Forestville ?

I thought I saw sonic laying Cables down Covey Road in Forestville a few months ago. Is there any chance we are getting one gig fiber Internet out here so that I can finally dump the hell that is Comcast?

Not yet, but that backbone connection is a good first step toward that potential.
The cable that was placed serves school sites in the region, as an anchor tenant. We’ll be working to cultivate other uses over time, as part of our effort to bring fiber to everyone.
