Sonic uses 2 different AdTran ONTs for 10Gbps service, the 622v (https://help.sonic.com/hc/en-us/article ... dTran-622v) and the 822v (https://help.sonic.com/hc/en-us/article ... dTran-822v). Note that the web pages refer to the front and back of the ONT. When wall mounted, they are, respectively, the top and bottom. Each has 2 Ethernet ports with one of them labeled 10GE ). The Ethernet cable should be plugged into the 10G port with the other end connected to the WAN port of your router. Before doing further troubleshooting, you should check that the cable is connected correctly.

In troubleshooting, you can also check the status lights on the top of ONT to see if data is flowing correctly.

Thanks for the info.

The ONT is the 622v and the Ethernet is plugged into the 10G port.

The activity lights correspond to the state, that is if the connection is up, then the LED indicates activity, and when dropped it does not indicate activity.

The question is whether the RAX is dropping the connection or the 622 is dropping the connection
